Ya gotta respect Cody for unashamedly "letting his geek flag fly", but has anybody else actually considered wearing an apron while working on model railroad projects?

Geek flag...heard that CSN song today. I don't think I would need to wear a train shirt to be pegged as a geek. I do have a nifty B&M West End Crew t-shirt though.
I have an apron from Duluth Trading that I wear mostly to carry tools while moving from the layout to work benches etc. I wear a tool pouch and apron as an electrician on workdays (weighs twelve pounds, made the mistake of weighing it), so I'm kinda used to the concept.

Funny stuff!  I ordered some olive oil once from my wife's hometown in Italy and it came with a " gimme" apron. I do keep that hanging next to my workbench for the rare occasion that I have to do something potentially messy while still wearing my office clothes. Admittedly, that is usually not hobby-related, but more of a household emergency fix/repair.

I was wondering if anybody would catch the David Crosby reference.

I have the right to remain silent.  By posting here I have given up that right and accept that anything I say can and will be used as evidence to critique me.

I thought the outfits were part of the Aprils fools joke.

My policy has always been that I don't pay to advertise for anyone.  If someone wants me to wear their logo then they gan give me the shirt, hat, patch...whatever.

Whoever came up with this idea of selling clothing with a companies logo on it was a genius.  Of course there is the downside of having people that you wouldn't want representing you wearing your logo for everyone to see.....All in all a great idea, the company makes money from the sale of the items and gets their name out there for free.
