Hi!
My father-in-law recently passed away. He had a rather large collection of model trains (O scale). My mother-in-law let my 4 kids (ages 13, 11, 7 yo twins) and DH choose quite a few of his engines and other cars. Right now most of them are in their original boxes (they had just moved to a new house and he hadn't had the chance to build his new layout). My question is how should we be storing these trains. right now we are not interested in setting up a table (don't have the space), but the kids want to keep them. Any recommendations?? Our storage areas are: We have a dry mostly finished basement, garage, and attic (with attic fan).
