Chrome browser not working on mrmag.com
Posted by MikeyChris on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 2:46 PM

Recently Chrome has stopped showing videos on mrmag.com (although it works on MRVP OK). I have the latest version and haven't changed any plugins. Opera, Firefox, I.E. and Safari all work OK. I started using Chrome because I.E. didn't work with my bank. Anyone else having issues with Chrome? I am running it on a Win 7 Pro 64 bit machine. Thanx!

I am running Win 7, 64 bit on my laptop, all the current fixes, and Google Chrome - No Problems.

I use Google Chrome with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and Firefox with Linux Mint and have had no issues with either browser.

If you loaded Chrome after you set up the other browsers you may not have the add ons in Chrome.

Check Your Java updates, make sure they are up to date and cookies enabled.

BTW: You may also have Your settings checked by clicking on, ''update Your account'', when it shows up, on the right top of Your screen, it will say ''cookies enabled?'' click on that and it will do a browser check and show what is going on. Should have all green dots, by every program.

Thanx for all the replies. Since videos on MR Video Plus play OK, can I assume I have the right extensions?

My JAVA was one release behind current, so I updated it, but still can't see videos in Chrome on mrmag.com (OK on MRVP). Cookies have been enabled since day 1 (although a very few sites tell me they are NOT enabled, but then those sites work OK anyway).

I tried adding a screen shot to this post, but I guess that isn't allowed because it would not paste into this message.

This is one of those problems that is just irratating more than anything else. I just have to use an alternative browser when I want to see videos on mrmag.com.

Personally, I hate Chrome, and do my best to avoid it.

There are a few websites that are only compatible with Chrome, so I then use Chrome on one tab.  I use Internet Explorer with all of the other websites.  You aren't restricted to using one browser.

You probably had a ''script error'' that would have stated that whenever You tried to use the quote feature and uninstalling and reinstall corrected the error. JAVA does more than people realize.

Glad it's working, correctly.
