G-scale Detailing
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, March 14, 2002 5:51 PM
I am beginning modeling in G-scale, after N and HO experience, but don't know where to go for detailing parts. I am specifically looking for G-scale ladders, as I want to build some semaphore signals. Anyone know who (if anyone) stocks these?
Thanks,
J. Jones

Go to www.finescalerr.com. The entire current issue of the magazine (with ads, etc.) is posted online; you can read it there or download it in sections and read it later.

Finescale Railroader is aimed at large scale modelers, so most of the ads are concerned with O to G scales (and everything in between).

I forgot to add that the magazine also sponsors 4 different online forums that you might be interested in. One of them is specifically aimed at large scale modeling.

Also, the magazine is available in hobby shops or by subscription. All of that info is also on the web site.

have you looked at your local? doll house store. You can usaully find close to g-guage size details, but they are expensive.
Have you considered making a ladder out of brass?
