I have a Lionel Train set from this time fram I am
trying to get information on it, cannot find anything. The only markings on it are Lionel Train,
even Encarta has nothing.
Thanks Grinder

Do you mean that there are No numbers on the side of the locomotive cab or on the sides of the cars? Every other Lionel set has numbers or names on these. Get those numbers and then look on eBay under the Hobbies, Trains, O Scale, Lionel category. Search under "completed auctions" for them and you should get a good idea what they are worth.

gregg's response dealt w/ market value. If you want additional data try the Greenberg books or perhaps you could send an e-mail to Classic Toy Trains
