Help finding info on old CP Rail model
Posted by SoCalChevy on Thursday, June 5, 2014 12:07 AM

A few years ago my Dad and I took one of our HO scale locomotives into a hobby shop (Trains, etc in Tehachapi CA) to be fixed, and the store lost it. I am trying to locate a replacement. It was somewhere around 5 or 6 inches, with four wheels, so it probably represented a switcher locomotive. The cab was in back. It was white on the top, red on the bottom, and had some slanted red and white stripes in a band between the solid-colored sections. It said "CP Rail" in red, with the white part in the background. I'm pretty sure it had two black horns on the top. Regretably I did not take any pictures of it. It was my Dad's when he was a kid, so he would have bought it around the late 60s or early 70s. I tried doing a Google image search but haven't found any that quite match it.

If you have any ideas about what company made it, or something else that could help me locate another one, please respond! (especially if you know of one in Tehachapi:)! )
