N Scale Canadian National Overland Cars Wanted...
Posted by Tracklayer on Friday, January 24, 2014 2:00 PM

Hello all. Can anyone out there possibly tell me where I might find a set of N scale Athearn Canadian National overland passenger cars ?. I've been looking high and low but so far haven't come up with anything. I even email George's Trains up in Canada but haven't gotten a reply. Actually all I'm really wanting is a single coach or two if I could locate them but they're as rare as hens teeth... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't find any CN ones or singles anywhere, but I did find some SOU ones on ebay that would be easy to decal (they are kinda expensive). Here's the link.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Athearn-N-scale-Southern-Overland-Passenger-Set-11855-/201025866815?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2ece134c3f

Wow!. Thanks a lot Alex. You may just have something there. The C.N. versions don't have all of the fancy pin striping but they're basically the same color. I'd be happy if I just had a baggage combo car and two coaches - three coaches would be even better but I seriously doubt that's ever going to happen. I read on another model railroading forum where some guy is just as frustrated as I am at trying to locate the same cars so at least I'm not the only one...
