I am a fan of the British dance pop band New Order and they have a song called Mr Disco. I used to be on AOL and was Mrdisco101 but they booted me off for certain reasons and I got back on again later and became Mrdisco102. Everyone assumes I love disco music but the jokes on them!

[#welcome]osprey275 Where in Scotland? I've a cousin in Midlothian.
BTW we have ospreys, at any rate in the summer, just off our place here on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. Drop in to The Coffee Shop sometime, why not?

Mine was selected when I was modeling MoPac in N scale--thus i was in to MoPac in N scale, n2mopac. I am now modeling bnsf, so I would prefer n2bnsf, but they won't let you change id's here, so I guess I will continue to be n2mopac. That's ok though because I still have a real interest in MoPac as I grew up along a MoPac line.

The meaning is deep.

Mountain Top Brezes
Having Season's in the Sun
The Big Sky Blueness.

Actually, I like GN in the late 60s when they used the Big Sky BLue scheme. And I am a college student.

Is a StarWars thing... Yes, I know what you're thinkin', but no I'm not a nerd looking_Han_Solo_wannabe, not even a fan. I like the movies (specially Natalie Portman), but it was my first internet nick about 10 years ago and I've kept it.

Well like Ed and Paul, I let my imagination run wild and used my first intial and last name. On most other forums I use DH34 which was a call sign I used for several years.

Like Ed, no imagination. I tought about using Rotor Head. I flew helocopters for 7yrs. in the U.S. Army. I also thought about using my old call sign. I'm using that for something else. UH1-D-715 was the aircraft I was flying when I got shotdown. I guess I'll stick with my name. I might confusesomeone if I change. Probably myself.

DER5997 was the phone # at home when I was, for want of a better phrase, growing up. I've remembered it all this time, and so it may as well earn it's keep. DER= DERWENT, a phone exchange in south London in the era of named exchanges.

Is that Brunnel? His design for steam ship screws, done pre-computer by at least a century, is 95% as efficient as the best designs for nuclear subs today. (at any rate the declassified data[;)])

BNSF is my favorite RR and I guess I am nuts about it.
Some of my freinds think I am nuts just because I listen to the voices in my head[:D].

There is no such thing as a bad day of railfanning. So many trains, so little time.

KOG - Kansas, Oklahoma, & Gulf Railroad was the shortline that serverd my hometown of Durant, Oklahoma. 1027 - Was the Missouri Pacific roster number assigned to the KO&G's lone NW-2 switcher after the Texas & Pacific bought them out, also ties to the Train's Magazine old / new mailing addresses.

Well, Sask. is the abbreviation for the province of Saskatchewan, where I live. Tinplater refers to the many vintage tinplate trains that I collect and operate.
