I just got a trucks n stuff chevron gasoline tanker rig but have not been able to find any chevron decals. does any company make them in HO or N scale?
I am sure you will find some eventually. It would be much quicker for you to go to Google "images" and print your own off using blank decal paper. Another advantage of doing that is you can adjust the size to make it perfect.

I haven't found any
The best I could do was make my own. Although they are just paper print outs now as I haven't printed any decals yet. I went with an early style of logos when Standard Oil of California started to display the name Chevron. It fits my late 1950s era layout.
I especially like the piece of tape holding on my temp sign
Here are the images I made, feel free to use them as you like

Got around to making a better sign for the Chevron...added some other details too. Still have to finish cutting plastic for that parking lot and road. Oh and there still are no commercially available Chevron decals.
It's really not that difficult;I got all these by just Googling, "Chevron logo':
