Hank: ...... Bud, looks like a big problem ahead.
Bud: ..... Yep. That is a problem. A really big prblem.
Hank ...... You'd think Garry would complete his doggone layout. Bud .... I would think so. Instead, he spends his time owrking on the trains. Here's one of my favorite tank cars. I picked up this Staley Mfg. tank car at a flea not too long ago. It's an oldie & apparently been kicking around awhile. How do I know? Well, the rust you see on it is not weathering that anyone did........it's real rust! Love the look of it & I'm leaving that part of it as it is. The only thing plastic on it is the tank itself. Everything else is metal. Don't know who made it for certain. Marked "Yugoslavia" on the underside of the frame. Someone did put knuckle couplers on it at some point, cheap ones, and they made a horrendous mess of it. They glued the gear boxes onto the frame & likewise the gearbox covers using about a quart of glue. One coupler is broken off & it's going to be a challenge getting that glued on mess off, but I'm going to try to get some Kadee #5's put on it.
