In the June issue of MR pg. 67 there is a box of info about the specs. of the HO Bachmann DD40AX......
.......the last line reads........Weight 16 pounds 7.75 ounces.
Am I seeing things or was this a misprint?
I can just see the thing falling thru the foam on my layout.

After reading Your post,, I had to check it out and your right,,that's exactly,what they state,it weigh's.. That's heavier,than my 15lb sledge hammer... Maybe,it should read,1.6???

I don't know what to say,,, after reading that article,, is it possible??? It has,four flywheels,two motors,cast frame,and trucks,, I believe, there is a error somewhere.. according to the spec's,,,16lbs,7.75,oz's,,$275.00.dollars..
