Neither is the Moose Bay Transit Authority, but on a per-mile basis, it took a lot longer.

What I loved was the Noo Yawkese, sandhogs.  That Manhattan Schist they were blasting isn't sand.  More like ceramic armor!  (Trust me, I know whereof I speak...)

Not obvious in the video - they are doing this right under the two levels of existing GCT tracks and one of the busiest buildings in Manhattan.

Thanks for the video, Lion.  The ol' home town has always been the home of cutting edge construction projects.
