Rivarossi Allegheny question

noticed in the picture of a locomotive i just ordered that the foam insert on this Rivarossi Allegheny are of a different style this one seems to no longer have the rolled stock certificate tied with the red ribben and the extra larger cab no longer shows in its seperate slot.

hopefully all the extra parts are in the one larger opening with the white cover on it,anyone recieved this type of packaging on their Riv.Allegheny?

I'm wondering if the extra cab and the detail parts--linkage, chains, etc.--might be under the white cardboard square at the bottom left hand corner of the box?  Is this locomotive ordered from Hornby, or acquired off of EBay?

My Rivarossi Allegheny is now six years old.  It came with the LokSound decoder and a whack of user-added details, including the cab with the longer roof.  Also there were brake rigging for the drivers and chains for the tender trucks IIRC.  The white square is a carboard box.

Unless Rivarossi/Hormby have updated their specs for the decoder, LokSound will have the wrong chuff sounds and the wrong whistle.  Rather hilariously wrong if you ask me.

A tip.  If you elect to use the cab with the extended overhang on the roof, handle both cabs with great care.  I broke the post that is mounted under the cab with little more than eyeball pressure when I looked at it.   It is quite brittle.  You just need to loosen some screws and lift the back of the boiler shell enough to let the front flange clear, or something like that.  Go slow!  Don't force anything.
