Here's a billboard based on one that was visible from I-65 south of Louisville, KY for many years:

Please show a small steam locomotive.

If you want 'short', how about this: A 2-bay PS-2 covered hopper at 32ft, when the average [scale] length of freight cars it shares the layout with is 50-60ft.

Show me any kind of hopper

A whole slew of MOW equipment...

These are N scale, some from way back.  1 and 6 are from "Atlas 1st Generation"  2 from Arnold Rapido.

So as not to be scale-specific...

Show me something kitbashed from old model rolling stock that was around in 1970 or before.

Just to keep things moving, this flanger is a Roundhouse 3-in-1 kit that dates from the 70s or earlier. I bought & built is in the late 80s. I did it so far back, I do not remember what the donor kit was - maybe one to their old-timer cabooses.

Show me some more MOW equipment

This Walther's speeder, which I dirted up a bit and shown here on some unfinished track, zips my track inspectors up and down the mainline.

Show me something tall and slender.

Jacon 12 Good morning, a day late.

I bought the same speeder, and when I received it I was stunned that the wheels would not roll. It bugged me until I finally thought of putting "N" scale wheels on it. May not be Proto, at least it rolls. Hmmm,  just noticed that rail joint doesn't look so good, never had any trouble with that shop lead though.  Embarrassed

Roll on.   Smile, Wink & Grin
