Thanks for the link Wayne.

Pretty much anything pre 1906 is few and far between.
I would like Athearn/Roundhouse to make some additonal shells for their 36 ft underframe, such as a St Charles door boxcar (plug door), a left opening door boxcar, a high sided gon, a low sided gon.
Then do some plainer, more common lettering for eastern roads in multi-packs for the 36 ft cars (B&O, N&W, PRR, LV, C&O, NYC&HR, ERIE, CNJ, WAB, L&N, ETV&G, etc). They have been doing a wonderful job of creating accurate schemes on cars, they just tend to pick really obscure roads or roads with really small fleets for the majority of their offerings.
A camelback boiler that would fit either the Bachman 4-4-0 or 4-6-0 series or the Roundhouse 2-8-0, 4-4-0, 2-6-0 mechanisms would be waaaay cool.

A B&O P6 pacific. I've made a few attempts at kitbashing one, but with the manufacturers now getting more diverse, I'd rather just buy one. If Bachmann can make an EM1, a very nice model by the way, why not a P6?

I don't believe the SW1200 has been done in D&RGW switcher scheme yet.
I'd also like to see Athearn Genesis offer the phase I D&RGW single stripe F7's which pulled the California Zephyr in the final years.
D&RGW F7 #5571 was an F7 that was rebuilt as a result of a wreck in the 1950's and EMD used an F9 carbody to restore it so the sides are F9 style but the roof is still F7A all the way (36' dynamic brake fan). It was retired in 1969 IIRC. This F7A would be a no brainer for Athearn since they did a similar unit already, F3A #5531. This was an F3A rebuilt to an F9m around 1953 by EMD - it looks like an F9A from the sides, but has the roof of an F3A - Athearn Genesis offered this in 4-stripe and single stripe - I bought the single stripe as seen here:
The F7A #5571 would look very much like the above diesel except the roof details would be all F7 and the numbers on the number board. Since the Highliner shell is modular, it is easy to apply the correct combination of parts to match various rebuilt F units and offer them!
D&RGW F7#5574 from the same original F7ABBA set as the above loco pulled the California Zephyr until the CZ was discontinued in March 1970. #5574 was a standard phase I F7 painted in single stripe paint around 1965/66 and after the D&RGW F3's were retired at the end of 1965, became one of the D&RGW pool F units to pull the CZ, and by the late 1960's the pool of F7's was getting smaller so #5574 was used most of the time. In the last year or two, it sported F3 style tall roof fans, which must have been swapped out during a shopping around 1969.
FYI, the following D&RGW F7 sets were outfitted with steam generators in the B units and had controls to regulate them:
#5552,5552,5553,5554#5561,5562,5563,5564#5571,5572,5573,5574#5581,5582,5583,5584
Set 5581,5582,5583,5584 was originally ABBA delivered with no steam generators, however, steam generators were added to the B units some years after delivery, so F units from this set could handle passenger trains.
The first 3 ABBA sets listed above were the first F7's purchased by the D&RGW back in the 1948 and 49. There is a whole treatis on www.utahrails.net on set @5561-64 which was purchased before all the F7 features were available from EMD so it was sold as an F5 set and later upgraded to F7.
The above F7's were the primary passenger F7's, however, D&RGW bought 6 F9's in 1955 as a last gesture toward passenger power, 2 A units and 4 B units. One set was #5771,5772,5773,5774, a pure F9 set, however #5761,5762,5763,5764 was a set with two F7A's and two F9B units. The above two ABBA sets were used on the California Zephyr but 3 F9's #5774, 5772 and 5773 were wrecked in the late 1960's so the last couple years of CZ service was pulled by a mixture of F9's and the above F7's.
Considering how popular the Broadway Limited California Zephyr cars are, it's a plus to have model makers offer accurate passenger power for this train. As it, the early years of the CZ are pretty well covered by the Genesis WP F3ABB set, plus the WP FP7A and F7B which were used through out the life of the 1949-1970 CZ operation:
As far as D&RGW power goes, by date we are covered by the following:
1949 - Genesis D&RGW black F3ABBA, Broadway and P2K black PA/PB/PB1949-1952 - Broadway silver (orange nose) PA/PB/PA. The black F3ABBA were used also and repainted around 1951.1952-1964 Genesis and Walthers Proto 2000 F3ABBA yellow/silver 4 stripe and Broadway/P2K PA/PB/PA yellow/silver 4 stripe (used as late as 1959, after which the D&RGW used only EMD power on the CZ).1964-1965 Genesis single stripe F3ABBA sets1966-1970 Genesis single stripe F7's and F9's (some available as discussed in this post.
For CB&Q CZ power, the (disclaimer, I am not a CB&Q expert) the F3ABA sets were used during the first few years of the CZ operations starting in 1949.
For late era CZ power I am not sure of the status of good up-to-date CB&Q E7A, E8A and E9A's are but a new run of those would be good. Of course we have the Genesis D&RGW 4-stripe and single stripe F3ABBA sets, and the Genesis D&RGW single stripe F9ABB and F9AB sets for #5771,5762,5763, and #5774, 5773. Also Genesis #5764 was made and freight versions of the phase II F7's. So whats left?
D&RGW phase II F7A #5761D&RGW phase I F7A #5571, 5574, and corresponding B units with 36' db fan but FARR air gills added to match the appearance in the last CZ years. F7A#5551 and 5552, 5561, 5562 were also seen on the CZ but mainly pulled secondary passenger trains like the Yampa Valley Mail or Prospector after the PA's were retired.

How about 4449 in the Bicentennial scheme - in G scale?
I'd never run the thing, but it would look nice between my wife's golf trophies on the mantel.
Lacking that, an accurate HOj WaRa 1 class 17 ton capacity 4 wheel boxcar would be nice...

Jim, there's a version of your number 300 HERE, albeit in original SAL paint. Scroll down just past half-way to see the pictures.
As for the GP38, it doesn't appear all that unusual, nor is the paint job one which would be difficult to reproduce.

A N-scale SW1. Prefer Western Pacific and Sacramento Northern, but I can repaiont if necessary.
I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.
I don't have a leg to stand on.
I would like to see one of these:
No.
I'd much prefer to build/modify/paint my own. What's the point in doing this kind of work if everybody and his brother can simply buy the same thing right off the shelf?

I would like to see somebody produce a BN F unit executive set in N scale like BN 1 and BN 2. I know HO scale has a set already which I plan on purchasing one for my uncle in georgia who also runs the BN.
another one I think is cool too is the CSX F's
