It would be better if you could post larger photos.

So, where did you order your Power Cab and RS3 from, Mike?  Or, did you just order a NCE decoder for one you already have?

Jeffrey is correct.  In the future try posting pics in the 50K-100K window.  10K is a bit small to really see anything.

After you've had a chance to play around with your new toys, give us an update at some point.

I think Kalmbach should provide a psychiatrist to those of us that get so exited at the arrival of some new model railroad equipment that we have the need to take a photo of the event. Guilty as charged.Geeked Could there be a "for all you do Mr. Model Railroader" Beer commercial in my future.Whistling

Now on the other hand, when I asked my buddy what Santa brought him for Christmas, he replied socks and underwear. So I licked my chops and emailed him back with this photo.Mischief

Batman, I don't have much to say about the other stuff in your photos, but those two puppies are precious.

Can I come over and see your layout puppies?

Rich we always have plenty of adult dogs to play with around the joint. Puppies maybe once every year or two. Being married to a Veterinary surgeon is like living with Dr. Doolittle sometimes. My wife gets people from all over the world coming to the house for dog related purposes and you would not believe how many of them have model railroads.  Anyway if you want to see more of our dogs just Google Image or Google the word "". You will get pages of hits of our dogs.

Brent,

IIRC, that pic is several years old now - yes?

Tom I think it was may 2009. I was sure excited the day I brought that home. I had the layout running DC until I was far enough along that I was sure I was making enough progress to warrant the expense. Going DCC really added the WOW factor to the hobby for me.

As far as the pups go, well they are teenagers now and just lay around on the couch watching the same movies over and over. They should be keeping my feet warm in the train room.

Seriously, I have the similar DCC system, & it is great!
Be Carefull if you want to buy the USB interface, 1 yr ago, I had found out I needed the Serial version to do Computer JMRI, so do that research, maybe they support USB now, I donno..
However, you will really enjoy that system!!!
