The weather has been getting colder and cloudy (and rainy) every year for the last few years (no global warming here) so I've been stuck in for 5 or 6 days a week all summer (today was nice though) so I've had a lot of time to work on the layout.

there is so much that i have to do in the summer outside that i've not done anything on my layout since the beginning of june. i still find time to go to my clubs meetings and work on their layout and i did make some of the train shows in my aera. cutting grass, doing maintenance on my vehicles gardening and rebuilding a toyota landcruiser all are taking up my time. soon there will be leaves to rake and as the weather gets cold outside i will light my woodstove and work again on my layout.
