Have any of you purchased one of those new wheel cleaning rigs Woodland Scenics has come out with? Do they work as advertised?

We have one at our club to try out, primarily for cleaning locomotive wheels.  It works fairly well for that purpose if you put cleaning fluid on the pads, but not too well dry. The pads get dirty very quickly if you have a sizable fleet of locomotives, so you will need to have spares on hand.  It's easier to use than trying to hold a piece of cloth across the track.

I took a look at it at my LHS today, but I think it's strictly for diesels.  Any but the shortest wheel-based steamers will be too long for it.  I did pick up their under-truck 'dust busters' and the cleaning pad that resembles a Brite Boy, but I haven't been out to the layout to use them yet.  Probably this evening.
