I just remembered where i got those yellow LED's!..it was an LED assortment pack from Radio Shack that i had purchased a few years back...don't know if they still sell them anymore though...better check my can of parts and hang on to what's left of them...some of the answers in this forum say that they are hard to find...Chuck[:D]

Yet another good reason why 1.5v bulbs are easier to use than LEDs for headlights in some cases. The miniatronics 1.5v bulbs are 1.2mm in diameter and a #55 drill makes a perfect sized hole for 'em.

But if someone would make a 1.2mm golden white LED, I'd like to give it a try just to see. Can you turn the front half of a 3mm white LED down to 1.2mm? Even if you can, sounds like more work than just using the bulb, since all you have to do is drill and insert the bulb.
