I bought one of the Fox River Model's HO Hiawatha sets last year and during the initial test / break-in run the engine quit working. I worked on it to try to get it to work, and had a little success but when I tried putting a decoder in it, it quit completely. I ended up contacting Matt Gaudynski and sending the engine back. It came back a few weeks later, running well with a new circuit board AND with a Digitrax decoder installed. I know some other folks had some trouble with these engines, but I was glad to see the good customer service in resolving the problem.
