Christmas Wishes

What I would like for Christmas is:  1.  A layout with no derailments; 2. no power interruptions; and 3. always clean tracks

Santa is gonna be a busy guy visiting all our layouts! Better leave him extra cookies for all that work!

Hi,

Thought a post like this would come up - glad it did!

Speaking strictly regarding model railroading, what I would like for Christmas is for a "better" manufacturer come out with some ATSF and IC specific steam locos.  Now I'm not talking about a generic usra loco with Santa Fe or ICRR slapped on the tender, but a decent representation of the road's locos...............

Oh, and if they do announce them, I ask that they come out in a reasonable time period, free of problems.

Ummmmm, on second thought, maybe I better ask for "World Peace" or an endless supply of pollutant free energy........................

Merry Christmas to all you that celebrate it, and Happy Holidays to those that don't.

ENJOY  !

All I want for Christmas is the energy to get off my duff and get out to the garage and finish that MR project I left half-done in October, LOL!

Oh yah, and a mini-cam I can mount on a flatcar.

Merry Christmas, everyone!!

What I would dearly love for Christmas {and the year 'round} is:

1} manufacturers to produce quality products that will last 40-50 years or more

2} locos to come out in every livery everybody wants that are prototypical

3} locos and products that actually come out on the date advertised!

4} No delays in productions/delivery of said products anywhere along the supply channel

5} EZ DCC products that are not so complicated and that are very accurate to operation

6} prices that anyone on any budget could afford

7} Details that are great and won't break if you sneeze on it

I could go on.....

My 2 Cents

Sure, we want- especially some train stuff, but Santa's budget is NIL this year,

Santa already brought us a  wheel kit for a generator we got after the massive flooding left us without power ONCE AGAIN for days on end, a battery for said generator's electric start system, a few turtle necks , flannel shirts and slippers we needed.

After replacing a furnace that failed, a roof that needed redoing, throwing out $800 of food from the stand alone freezer and the refer/fridge after the flood, and 3 major auto repair bills this fall, That is ALL SANTA COULD AFFORD THIS YEAR FOR US.

A winning $10,000,000.00 lottery ticket would do it for me.

And if you don't think that's model train related, think again. Wink
