Most people on the midcoast area of Maine know the Dragon Products cement plant in Thomaston; on Boothbay RR Village, we represented that plant using a Walthers Valley Cement Plant, Golden Valley Canning (for the bagging plant) and a couple of DPM modulars for the operations and maintenance buildings

Looks like time is up on an interlocking plant. (That's an impressive picture, Lion.)

I suggest we move on.

Please post a photo you intended to post earlier in this thread, but another person beat you with his/her photo.

Sorry, looks like time has passed on that request, I do have something close but very little of the car can be seen, but I did dust & weather it!  I have also used that photo too many times, already, so how about we chage it up? As modelers we often are painting, so whay not do "out of the paint shop?"  (sorry you may be sick if this already too...)

Here is my fictional Kato GP35...

TWO heavily weathered Arnold Rapido N scale 2-bay covered hoppers, Santa Fe class GA-52, as supposedly would have appeared in 1957.

Real GA-52 in 1981, converted for ballast service.

And an old Rivarossi Challenger to round out the bunch.

George,

Thanks, WOW, that shot really does show the tone difference, thanks for showing us that, it gives a good direction to look at for the type & ara of car being modeled! Something you have to see side by side as your picture shows!

This is a comparison shot I took of an MEC HW coach with "incandescant" lighting and "new" P/S LW MEC 244 with "fluroescent " lights

The lighting kits are Miniatronics with yellow glow LEDs for incandescent and bluewhite LEDs for the fluroescent.
