LGB 2085, valuable?

Hi, I am selling my husbands set on Ebay,(downsizing, and he hasn't used it in years!)He nearly died when I told him I listed it as a set. I was happy that it was currently at over 400.00. Appearently I am insane. He says the engine he has was 2000.00 in 1987. It is a LGB 2085. Does that mean anything to anyone? He does have a tendency to exaggerate, so I'm not sure waht to think!
Please help!
