Hey ! Hey ! Not fair, no artists allowed on a model train layout. those are the best clouds I have seen, and it took me 5 years to learn how to paint clouds on the Canadian praries, great job and a great video, superb work.

Excellent video.  What was the background music that you used?

Thanks for the comments guys!

The music I used is Mozarts "Requiem", I listen to a LOT of classical music, and it is one of my favourites.

Thanks for the video, Graffen.  You have both a good hand and a great taste in music.

Thanks for that Graffen, I really enjoyed it.

When is the " Making your rugged foam rocks continue on to the backdrop" chapter coming out? Laugh

Graffen,

This is a little off topic, but since you like to combine good classical music with trains you might want to check out the following video, "ALL ABOARD: The Legends of the Rails  The Complete Story of Passenger Trains In America"  which is available through Amazon for $14.95 or possibly through your library.  It's a great video which includes a history of passenger trains in the U.S., including Amtrak, accompanied by classical music by Mozart, Beethoven, et al.  It's an excellent  video and worth watching just for the music.  When the music is combined with the trains, it's outstanding.

Again thanks for sharing your video with us.

I haven't used an airbrush on clouds before.  That looks great.

I'm working on my backdrop right now.  Very timely, thank you!

I am gratified to see that I seem to be proceeding in the right direction, although I doubt my artistic skill compares to yours!

It is more a question of "seeing" the world as it looks....  Cool

It would be difficult to do a good looking backdrop without good documentation. I use photos, both from books and those that I´ve taken myself, both to inspire me and to work from.

It is also a good thing to cheat as much as possible... If you can use a stencil, do it! Big Smile
