Train depot art show and histry
Posted by yougottawanta on Saturday, March 19, 2011 11:03 PM

Today was one of those great days in life. I was able to combine all of the elements that make life wonderful. My daughter had some school art work displayed in the public , guess where ? TRAIN DEPOT in old town ! So we took a trip to town to look at some great art work by the elementry kids . While there I also get to study the construction method and style of the depot while enjoying my daughters art work and her company and a BONUS! They have the orginial construction drawings on display in the depot ! Then on leaving the depot we discover some "civil war trail" signs. Which we had to read, of course and they had a nice old picture of an old 4-4-0 on the Orange and Alexandria rail. Picture perfect day with those that I love with elements of a hobby that I love !  Makes you just want to thank God for a perfect day.
