NYC / PENN, etc.
CB&Q GN / NP/ AT&SF

It used to be that if you were a fan of either Espee or Rio Grande, then Santa Fe was the Bad Boy. Or if you said you liked BOTH NYC and PRR, you were ready for the farm. Or okay, GN got you west to Seattle the fastest, but NP and MILW had the better scenery. Bashing was a lot more fun when we had more railroads to choose from. I just with UP would make up their minds what to do with their former SP and WP mains here in Northern California, is all. And sorry folks, but #3985 just looks out of place struggling over Donner Pass when they bring it out here for Railfair. But let's face it, if UP goes the way some of the bashers want, I'm going to have to travel a bit to watch trains.

ROFL stands for Rolling On Floor Laughing. I usually put ROTFL, Rolling On The Floor Laughing. Makes more sence. There's also LMAO (Laughing My @$$ Off) [;)]

LOL [(-D][(-D] , ROFL sounds like the dutch word for "drrrrrum rrrrrrrrroll" maybe that is why we leave the T out

Jonathon, (You wouldn't mind being called Jon?)

I got the "LMAO " one pretty quick, just couldn't figure out ROFL though.

BTW looks as if another UP-related thread has succumbed to "flaming".

Well, not exactly, BNSF would love UP to go under and vise versa (same with NS and CSX and CP and CN).
