Beautiful video Crandell.

Mine is actually three this week - a cab ride over the Clinch Valley that I broke into 3 pieces to keep them realitively short

Looks like WVF is dying a slow death.    Not much interest in posting videos I suppose.

Oh I certainly hope not! I really enjoy the videos. But they do require more time and effort to produce (at least to produce reasonably well, that is) than do photos, so the volume of posts in such a thread will understandably be much lower.

Let's keep it going as long as we can! I hope to squeeze one out myself as soon as time permits.

Yup, s'truth.  They do require some work to do them well, and that's why I am loath to start the whole thread myself.  I haven't got the equipment.   And somewhere along the line I have to get into a video editor...which I have neglected wholesale to this point.

But what's the excuse for some of you (other) guys with the fancy cams, huh?  Huh?

Great looking layout you have. How large is the Silver Creek RR? Scenery looks great as does your rolling stock and of course the DRGW engine.

Like Crandell, I have not a video equipment. I use my camera, a Canon PowerShot A 640. With this I can't zoom Angry

But remember, like most projects even a video starts in your brain. You must have an idea. And then the fun cames.

My narrow gauge layout is small. Here's the plan. It's the route from module to module. Smile

Great video, Grampy! Is there any more satisfying sound than the growl of an Alco?

I'm right there with others in my lack of real video equipment. I have to use either my phone or the video feature on my Sony camera. Both are okay for what they are, though it's not what either one does well. Plus, the layout has a certain paucity of scenicked areas to use as a stage. Hmm, maybe I could do something about that....

Nice video Crandell love the overhead shot

Do you have a Zoom lens that you could use to get a tight shot at the start

where the loco first comes in to view

What editing software are you using ?
