I just posted a new message and told the system to e mail me any responses... moved to work on another thread... wrote some stuff... and the system not only e mailed me but switched me to the message dumping out what I was writing AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry  and the message it was telling me about was my own original post AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry

NOT HAPPY!

I'm sorry, but I didn't understand a thing you said.

Other than a slow down of the site periodically I have had no problems.

But perhaps the moderators can forward your problem to the web site people to fix?

Does this have any connection to the fact that when you post a reply on this site, within seconds your E-mail notifies you of a new reply on the topic in your inbox, and when you open it up, you've been notified of your own post?  This is the only model website I'm on that does this, and is also the only hobby website I'm on that e-mails you everytime someone sends in a new reply.  Every other site I'm on only notify you once, no matter how many replies on a topic are recieved since the last time you checked in.  Not unusual for me to get 60 or 70 notices a day, half or more of them from this site, sometimes 6 or 7 just on one post. One day I was away from home for 3 days, and had over 140 notices, of new E-maiols, over 100 from this site.

Most likely the issue involves other software on your own computer and has nothing to do with this site. Since this site only emails you a message containing the post and does not (in fact, *cannot*) have anything to do with the viewing of your actual email. Some other program you have installed on your computer does that-- or else you are using a web-based mail service through your browser. But in either instance, the Model Railroader site does not have any way to access your mail or cause it to be rendered.
