I wanted to thank you all for welcoming me abord. It is nice to know that there are people who are happy to help others get started on something that is new to them. SmileI will be sure to ask questions when they come up, please don't laugh too hard if they seem dumb, HA HA.Laugh

As for the pictures I will have to get some out to you all.

Thanks Again,

Kenny

Kenny,

there are no dumb questions, only stupid answers. All of us were newbies at one point of the time, and we all had to learn. Thanks to this forum (and others) learning has become a lot easier, as we have now a platform to ask questions and to share our experience.

So don´t hesitate - ask your questions! There are many helpful people in here, which will give the appropriate answers.

Hi, pleased you feel welcomed. That is our intent.

Be sure to check  the links "if you are new here" for some guidelines to using this forum, or forums.

There is, at the right margin, a "search our community" feature into which you could type key words that may lead to threads with the answer to your question{s}. Try there first. Google search engine can also be your friend for a lot of info. FOr example "ballast" will turn up something like 10,000 threads and replies on that subject.

There are no dumb questions except the ones not asked, so ask away! Geeked. SOme questions show up ad naseum {the more you are on the site the more you will see for yourself}. SOme members will be snitty about answering such ad nauseum questions. Some will get off on a side tangent in answering your question {I can be guilty too}. Just ignore those  with responses that didn't answer your question.

You say you have a layout already so you are on your way! BTW, is it DC or DCC? How finished is it? {Is a layout ever really finished?} Are you going to expand it, or start a new one?

Stop into" Elliots Trackside diner" thread where you can share your life with/ without MRRing in it. It's a general life topic thread, as is "the beer barn". The only ones allowed not specifically to be MRR related.

Enjoy the forun{S}!! Wink

After long and careful thought, they have convinced me. I have come to the conclusion that they are right. The aliens did it.
