Height Info. Needed for Art Deco Underpass Please
Posted by Capt. Grimek on Sunday, October 3, 2010 9:58 PM

Does anyone here have the  HO Walther's Cornerstone "Art Deco Underpass" on their layout?

I'd like to know what sub roadbed /riser height will be needed  to have the bridge rails line up with the approach (risered) roadbed/track.

I have my present plywood  sub roadbed at a height of 3 1/2"  from bench top to the top of 1/2" ply. (with no cork roadbed/track on it.)  Or 3 3/4" total height with cork roadbed and track.

I'd like to know (before ordering the kit)  if I'd need to redo grades/riser adjustments to use this kit. Is it pretty easy to shorten the

kit parts 1/8" to 1/4"?  Thanks very much if if you can help.
