Big Sale at Hobby Emporium, Tyngsboro, MA
Posted by MisterBeasley on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 9:46 AM

Just a heads up for those in the Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire area.  Hobby Emporium in Tyngsboro, MA, is having their annual one-day-only 30% off everything in the store sale this Saturday, September 25th.  The doors open at 10.

This is normally an MSRP shop.  They have a large selection of HO and N gauge stuff.  There are lots of kits, including a particularly big section of structure kits.

Bump.  The sale is tomorrow, which, according to my Model Railroader calendar on the wall, is Saturday the 25th.

I have no affiliation with this shop, by the way.  It's not even my regular LHS.

I've been there many times and they have an extensive stock of train items.  But as you said, mostly MSRP.

So is this really 30% off of everything without restrictions?   Even previously marked down items?  If so, it might be worth a look see.

This will be the first time I've been to the sale, so I don't know the details.  The sign does say everything in the store.  There is very litte that is marked down normally, though.  The last time I was there, they had a box of Classic Metal Works cars and trucks on the floor, about a third off.  Another 30% would make those a real bargian.

I'm planning to stock up on trees and DPM modular parts, which I've always thought were overpriced.  I'll probably end up with some box car kits I don't really need, but can't pass up at that price.  There's a rack of Evergreen sheets and shapes, too.
