Two newly weathered cars

Hi All,

The box car is a Walther's Classic Kit and the hopper is an Athrean cheapo....

Nicely done Kyle.  I like that you didn't overdo the weathering.  I also like the puddle by the hopper.  It reminds me of one near the PRR tracks in Columbus, Ohio where I watched trains many years ago.

I like them as well Kyle. The C A T looks sweet in the second shoot.

Weathering is excellent, but the modeling in photo #2 is outstanding.  What products did you use for a) dirt, and b) water?

The dirt is stucco patch and Spackle painted with flat latex. The water is acrylic glossy clear coat poured in several layers. Thanks for the interest.

Beautiful job I like the boxcar best. Did you airbrush or use pastels and what colours were used? great scenes also. rambo1.....
