Kitbashing a Rail Grinder.
Posted by QRNational4101 on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 2:58 AM

I have an ambitious plan to build a model of a Harsco Track Technologies / Pandrol Jackson rail grinding train. I have plenty of pictures of typical grinding train consists, but I am unsure of were to start. Dose anyone know what may be a good starting point for this model, and what sort of rolling stock should I use as a base to work with? I have thought about this, and I know it’s going to be a big task, made bigger by the fact that I have never taken on a task as big as this, so if anyone has any tips, please let me know. Also, if anyone has good detail photos of this equipment, or any information that would help me out, please feel free to contact me or pass it on. Any help will be appreciated.

 Thanks,

Anthony.
