I just received my MTH Western Pacific heritage scheme SD70ACe. The paint scheme turned out to be better than I thought it would when I saw it in person so I went ahead and purchased one. I have to say I'm really impressed with this locomotive. The detail and paint is excellent. The sound and speed preformance is very good. The ditch lights alternate when the horn is activated and the number boards light up. I have the NCE Power Cab and the locomotive preforms as advertised with no problems. I would have to give it a rating of ten. For those wondering, with shipping included I paid $219.75.
I'm probably going to purchase the Athearn Genesis SP Heritage SD70ACe when it comes out and I can make a direct comparison. By the way this is my first MTH purchase with around 80 locomotives in my roster.
