Trainman, get a photobucket account or other photo hosting website account, and upload your photos to the website. They will translate your photos into something called an "IMG" Code. You copy the links they give you and paste it here.

The.Trainman.

With apologies.

I do not mean to put a damper on your enthusiasm, but, please stop shouting. (I can read your thread without my Tri-Focal glasses.) Also, please try to stop once in a while to take a breath while you are typing. Put in some punctuation marks such as periods and comma's and a question mark after each question. It will make it easier to read your thread. (Mini rant over.)

As to your query re. posting pictures, the previous poster has given you the correct answer but I don't know if it will work on W-7.

Hope to see some of your pictures soon.

Now back to WPF.

Jarrell, lovely photo of some great modeling!

Seeing those two locos sitting there just reminded me of riding the train from Canandaigua, NY to Rochester. NY to tour the Post Office when I was in 3rd. grade.  It was a yearly field trip for the 3rd. graders.  My sister who was 3 grades ahead of me got to ride on a train pulled by, in her words, a dirty, stinky, smelly old steam engine.  I got to ride behind a brand new Diesel.  To this day I feel cheated!!!WinkBig Smile

Some great modeling and photography here again this week. Keep up the good work guys.

Here is an Athearn BB undecorated baggage car kit I finished earlier this week. I painted it Pullman green and installed a single bulb for lighting. The white in the windows is a piece of paper I use as a diffuser.

This is one of three BB kits I purchased at a recent train show for $4.00 each. I couldn't pass them up.

Keep the models and photos coming guys. This is always the best thread of the week.

Remember its your railroad

I've seen pictures of this happening on the prototype where the truck slips back under the car while the train is running. But this happened on my layout and though it was worth a picture.  Haven't found the screw laying on the track yet.

Zak, That's a nice shot. Out of curiosity, how large is your entire module?

Robby, That hopper looks really good!

Detailed a U33C:

That was my first time doing grabs, and I think I did a pretty good job with it (and I broke 0 #80 bits). I still have to do some touch up paint and weathering to do. Next time I do one of these units, I'll just get DW hoses, beacons, plows and 18 inch drop grabs instead of the DA kit. I have a good amount of lift rings and wire that will work for the corner nose grabs.

Also did some work on the cars from that mini-show

Just added cushioned coupler pockets to this one. I bought it because I remeber seeing tons of these things growing up in San Antonio.

A-line steps, have yet to added better swinging couplers.

Had to modify a set of A-line steps to match the brakets on the shell. For having sprung trucks (walthers I think), 1 broken stirrup, kadees, and metal wheels I think $6 was pretty good.

modified a trainset car to have body mounts and athearn trucks. I should probably have more of these and some centerbeams for lumber service.

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.
