Repåinting a Structure
Posted by Butlerhawk on Friday, March 12, 2010 2:52 PM
Å few years ago I built a Walthers Lakeside Shipping Warehouse kit and put it in place on my layout. I really never liked the way I painted the building so I removed and repainted it as well as making a few changes to the building. It was not an easy job to repaint given all the windows that were in place and that could not easily be removed. I spent many hours on this repainting to get it the way I wanted it to be and it did come out quite nicely. But my advice -- carefully consider how you want a structure to look before you finish the painting - it is much easier to do when the kit is in pieces rather than redoing a completed kit.
