That "Other" Bachmann Spectrum Skyscraper Kit
Posted by Capt. Grimek on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 5:53 PM
I've got the "Metropolitan Building" kit coming my way from a private seller. I've been searching on the internet (ebay, etc.) for the similar but slightly taller (3 stories?) art deco skyscraper but can't recall it's name. Can someone please remind me and if you have pics all the better? Thanks.

I'm planning on placing a blinky neon Miller engineering sign on the roof of the Metro. Bldg. (Probably will be my Union Pacific office bldg.). Also does anyone know if the footprint on the Metro bldg. is 8" square? I'd be interested in purchasing the "other" kit if someone has a real bargain. ;-) Thanks again.

Would that be the "Trade Tower" also part of the Spectrum City Scape series?

slammin', thanks! That's it, alright. I guess the kit's name was so similar to...well you know, that I didn't remember or make the connection.

I was lucky to find a Metro. Bldg. for $50. If I could find a Trade Tower kit for something similar it would be a done deal!

I haven't been able to afford the ebay prices and keeping an eye and ear out for one that's selling closer to it's original cost. Thanks again slammin' for the name.
