Has anyone built the bar-mills kit  #3? If so what did you think of it,and did you find any problems with it.That kit would be the " Hurst Boiler & Welding"

I have built some of the others and they are great kits. I would rate them moderatly difficult, others might rate them moderatly easy. They produce a nice model if care is taken. The problems are as with any semi craftsman kit, until you get the tools and some practice they seem more difficult than they do after you have done a few.

If you think you have it right, your standards are too low. my photos http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/ARTHILL/ Art

I will second what Art said.  Very, very nice kits.  And they do produce a great looking model, but you do have to develope some skills to do them well.  There is a definate learning curve, but very achievable.

Give it a try!  You won't know how you like them until you have built one (or two...)

I have built several of their kits and have found them to make great models. I would say if you are just starting out you might want to try one of their smaller kits first. If you are an experienced modeler, go for it.
