Lionel Holiday Central Engine problem
Posted by Nepsa on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 1:49 PM

I purchased the Lionel Holiday Central "G" guage set after Christmas 2008. This past Christmas when I set it up for the first time (a year later), when I put the batteries, I got this smell of something burning. Nothing works, not even the whistle. It appears I have a defective circuit board.

Anyone know where I can purchase a new circuit board?

Thanks

Hey Nepsa, I don't have a clue, the only thing I know about my Lionel is if I drop it on my foot, my foot hurts. Seriously though, our host (MR) has a companion site/forum for Classic Toy Trains. It's under the magazine header for same. I'll betcha those guys can steer you straight. Might even be one of them that has a board he/she will sell you.

Happy railroading anyway,

Lou
