Its the Cherry Valley O scale group I think in Merchantville NJ, I live 5 minutes away. For those of you who like highly detailed prototypical operation from a track side perspective you should really check it out if you live near by. This is not a hi rail club, everything is 2 rail, no smoke, very little if any engine sound, all that you hear is the loud roar of the O scale equipment going across the tracks. The members are very helpful and friendly. Most of the equipment is brass, there is a good mixture of steam and modern diesel as well as a few electric locos. The layout is HUGE and extremely realistic, of museum quality. I heard it was built in the 60s.

I wish I had pics to post, but my cell phone took bad pictures, I hope to go back there again and bring a better camera. I'm sure you can find pics on a google search though. The thing I really like about 2 rail scale is the heft of the rolling stock and superior detail over hi rail. Everything is brass and there is nothing toy like about any of the passenger cars (this is coming from somebody who buys lionel and mth premier stuff from time to time).

Anyway, just thought I would mention it. I know that several of you on here have expressed an interest in 2 rail scale because of that track side perspective you can't really get in HO. If you like kit bashing and scratch building over ready to run equipment this is the place to go.
