I have a pre order in for a BLI Pacific. The dealer says there might be a hold up on the order as BLI is being sued for something or other.
Has anyone ehard anthing about this?

Hi, Bruce. About three weeks ago we all learned that MTH was suing BLI for patent infringement over some electronics and electro-mechanical items they both offer their customers. Notably, the synchronized chuff and smoke blower is what has raised the ire of Mike, et al. BLI insists that it will be business as usual.
They update their delivery schedule about every two weeks, and posted an update on their site perhaps Friday.
This will have to be a wait and see, but your Pacific's delivery should be reflected in the schedule on their website.

Hi Bruce,
I looked over the BLI site but I couldn't find any mention of the Pacific. It was there a year or more ago but not now. I had wanted one too but now I see that Roundhouse is coming out with an up-dated Athearn Genesis USRA light Pacific that is due out in late March/10. They have delayed this one several times but now it comes with Tsunami sound so it should be a good one.
