The Marion Model Railroad Club is celebrating it's 60th Anniversary during 2010. The club's website has been updated with additional photos, news, our new Club Car and includes information on rail fanning in Marion, OH, with maps, photos and more! The club is currently undergoing a 3 phase expansion process. Located in the Marion Union Station, the 1902 C&O depot houses a museum, the club room and a meeting room that many rail fan and model organizations use for yearly meets. Located at the intersection of 3 main lines, the Station sees about 100 trains daily and makes for a popular rail fan destination. Visit www.marionmodelrailroadclub.org for information! Thanks everyone! jt burke MMRRC Marion, OH

Congratulations to your club. 60 years is a long time for a club. My family is originally from Marion but I haven't been back in years. My great great grandfather founded the Fahey Bank. Do you model it at all on the layout?

Congratulations to the club JT. 60 years really IS an accomplishment. I wonder how many can make a similar claim and what might be the longest running club.

Our local 2 rail 0-gauge club is a bit older and they are justifiably proud. Your club should be too.
