I've recently painted and repainted a few locomotives for my fleet. After looking at my work I am still not satisfied with the MU hoses. All of the locmotives are Kato units in Norfolk Southern roadname with snowplows. The plastic MU hoses do not lend themselves to stick through the snowplow openings (at least I have never tried to benmd them that far). I am looking at the Hi-Tech Details rubber MU hoses as an option:

Anyone have experience with them or have tricks for getting the MU hoses through the snow plows so they show ?
