I have one of those little black sound systems with the horn and bell sound for my proto 2000 locos.there are 2 red wires for dcpower and 2 black wires for track and I still can't get it to work nomatter how I wire it up? any body know how? rambo1

I think you may be confused. It is to control sound equipped engines and is not a stand alone sound system. The feed from the power pack goes through the "controller" to the track so it is pretty hard to hook it up wrong.

I don't understand through the controller but I think i did wire it right but it stil don't work right there is power in the box the light is on but the horrn and bell don't work ? rambo1.....

The back controler has varable dc accessories ac or fixeddc witch do i use?rambo1.....
