 Y6b drags 36 cars

I built the cars and put expanded the test  train and tested it with engines as I went. I started with my C&NW 4-6-0. Nice engine, DC only for now till I can DCC it. Got maybe 12 cars on it then it started slipping, so put LL NKP 765 on it, added cars, I got up to about 28 cars then it started slipping. I tried my W&LE 2-6-6-2, which pulled it but it had errant running problems (gotta check connections) so switched to a BLI B&O 2-8-2, this engine had traction tires so no problems pulling the train, added a few more cars still pulled it. The B&O 2-8-2 I bought from the double header special from factory direct trains about 250 bucks for 2 engines. No DCC but with sound. very nice sound. I will be repainting them NYC and NKP sometime.

I ended up putting the YCB on the growing train, now had about 36 cars, about 7 more cars it will be meeting itself on the MC module crossing. The cars are running almost flawlessly on my not so perfect track amd running thru the MC module just super. Its another test check for the MC module. I was running the NKP  765 with it with pretty good speed thru it, no probs.

I tried my brass Nickel Plate products NKP 4-6-4, but like such engine, the pickup is the 3 right driver wheels and then the left tender wheels, it would stall out from time to time, so it needs a pickup workover.

I think the DCC culture has demanded quality power pickup and it shows on the newer DCC equipment.

MY LL 0-8-0 only picks up from the engine, but has DCC connections into the tender but no tender pickups. Been writing walthers to solve this, so it isn't a perfect running either. I added a soundtraxx DCC/sound on it, nice.
