NMRA Convention and new stuff
Posted by elauterbach on Sunday, July 5, 2009 5:53 PM

The NMRA convention is in a few days. I wonder what announcement of new stuff will be made. It looks like Con-Cor will be annoucing another train for their line that already includes the Pioneer Zephyr and Aerotrain. It supposed to be an east coast train. Any guesses?

On Peach Creek Shops website, they hint at some C&O motive power.

Either way, I am hoping for an accurate steam era N&W caboose, a DMIR Yellowstone, and a Milwaukee Road electric (Bi-Polar or Little Joe)

I do know that Athearn will be announcing an Ottawa Terminal semi and a Ford F-850 maintenance of way truck with crane.

If somebody does offer C&O power let's hope for an N-Scale H-8.

Beyond that GTELs would be nice; if only the 8500HP were offered then there would be room for DD35s and DD35As both of which were contemporary with the Big Blows. If only 50 thru 75 are offered then they would be contemporary with the Challengers and 4000 Classes.
