Appreciate all who responded to my query regarding producing sideframes, a non issue as I, quite by accident, located a company in New Zealand who manfactures a whitemetal/brass kit T-section Bettendorf sideframe with a 4-6' wheelbase (why quible over a scale 2 inch difference) for SN3/42 use, they were receptive to my request to provide the modifications necessary to convert for standard guage use and can be optioned with my choice of brake detail and wheel sets. They also have the capacity to reproduce the distinctive metal trust plates used by the PFE during this period.
