I've come across a number of kits for the old (50's and 60's) American Beauty 4-wheel streamliner trucks. Inevitably, some of the truck springs are missing. Does anyone have a source for replacement springs? Incidentally, the springs appear to be identical to the springs furnished on the old Central Valley trucks. I tried Kadee, but no luck. Thanks- Richard W.
You might wish to try looking./contacting NWSL they have locomotive springs that might work and they come in several strength's including wimpy.light ,medium etc.
Why not contact Central Valley? They may have replacement springs available or know of another source.

check out D. R. Templeman Co. they have a web site, just google the name. they have more springs than carter has little liver pills. i doubt if any model railroad manufacturer wound their own springs, probably used a stock commercial product that was available in bulk.

Try Precision Scale Co., perveyors of everything old, craftsman and specialized in the world of model trains. A quick glance at their passenger/freight car catalog shows about a dozen different sizes of truck springs.
