I can't wait for it to arrive, and when it does, I skim through it first looking at all the pictures for Ideas. Then I read the editors section and all the letters, then I read all the articles that interest me most, check out the adds, read the articles that don't interest me(things like DCC, I don't have it), then keep going over it until the next one arrives.

I also skim through the magazine from front to back when I first get it, making mental notes of feature articles I want to be sure to read.
Then I usually read the recurring columns and departments... From the Editor, News & Products, Railway Post Office, Workin' on the Railroad, Workshop, Step by Step, Information Desk, Product Reviews, Trains of Thought, Trackside Photos and Model Railroading is Fun. Whew!
Next I will read that month's feature articles that interest me. I usually read most of them, but rarely read all of them. I don't have a problem with leaving some articles unread. I don't read any other magazine cover to cover -- why should it be any different with MR?
Then it hits my nightstand and lives there until the next issue comes out. Every night before I turn off the light and go to sleep, I page through the magazine for 5-10 minutes looking at the pictures and the ads.
I love MR, and look forward to the new issue each month. [:)]
