That's something you'll have to ask the moderators.

I'd agree with that--someone either reported something you said/did or they caught something. Either way check it out.

Actually, we're all being moderated.  But, I don't recall getting any posts about it.

Did you violate any of the forum rules, either intentionally or accidentally?  We aren't allowed to offer things for sale, we don't discuss religion or politics (with the occasional exception for railroad-related government policies) and we don't go for foul language, even if you replace the vowels with those oddball characters above the number keys.  Name-calling and generally acrimonious behavior isn't going to go over well, either.

Anybody can hit the "Report Abuse" button.  Sometimes, it happens by mistake.  I wouldn't be surprised if that might generate the kind of response you got.

They've done it with political comments lately. Basically anything other than trains is subject to deletion.  Nothing personal, it's just trains.Smile,Wink, & Grin

Nothing for sale, politics, name calling or anything. I just replied to a post on the electronics forum. It has never happened before plus I can post this question? Is there some random computer thing that pulls some replies? Why would a reply be moderated and not this post?

Check it out anyways--it could've even been an error or some thing someone did by mistake. After all-if Google can mess up searches so badly that people end up with malicious site reports for ordinary things then it could happen here---

Nothing personal. Just yet another bug in the new forum software - occationally some random poster gets told that he has been placed on moderated status and all his posts have to be preapproved before they will be posted. Was reported for the first time in november 2008, hasn't been fixed yet.

If it persists, send a PM to Bergie (the forum owner) to tell him about it. More information here.

 Stein

I got something like that a while back. The message said that since my post contained a link to another forum it had to be approved by a moderator before it could be posted. Bergie told me it was just a glitch.

Hello, loco1sa. We are sorry for your experience...it couldn't have been much fun getting that message. Shock

As others have replied, a few people do get that message for some reason that I don't understand.  It is indeed a computer error, and has nothing to do with you as a poster.

Please find the email for customer service near the bottom of the page, probably under "contact us", and let them know you are getting this unwelcome message.  They will quickly deal with it, as they have done with a few others who have received this nasty interruption over the past three months.

I think proper etiquette dictates that you hit the "Report Abuse" on the moderators. Some one has to moderate them too Big Smile

And I have, just the cursor going over it.(Once wound up with four extra tabs from this happening on the old system. and yes, stopped using that mouse) But the last time I used it, it opned to another page before it was actually sent. So I doubt that could ever be it in another circumstance. (Having already seen the solution)

Thank you. I didnt think it was me. It could be there were a couple links to another web site(not a forum). It just never happened before. I think I have been polite with just a small amount of sarcasm sometimes.  The old saying is true. With computers what used to take weeks to foul up now only takes miliseconds.
